Staff Accountant

Our client, on the north side of Indianapolis, is a technology based accounting company founded in 2003 with the belief that every company, no matter the size, deserves the financial systems and expert guidance necessary to grow smart.  They seek a Staff Accountant that wants to be set up to advance while learning new skills and earning new responsibilities.

The successful candidate will earn anywhere from $50,000 – 60,000 annually based on background and experience.

The Staff Accountant will:

  • Create and send invoices, post payments and send customer statements
  • Reconcile balance sheets on a monthly basis
  • Prepare financial statements and cash flow forecasts
  • Be responsible for financial review meetings at clients
  • Oversee bookkeepers, as needed as well and accounting systems and processes

Ideal candidates have: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2-5 years’ experience 
  •  Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement presentation
  •  Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  •  Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products
  •  Good working knowledge of Quickbooks
