POSITION OVERVIEW

ISOtunes and Haven Technologies are seeking a highly organized and driven New Products Project Manager to lead the development and launch of new products from concept through production. 

This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering, industrial design, sourcing, quality, marketing, and overseas manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will ensure that new products are developed efficiently, meet performance and regulatory requirements, and launch on time and within budget. 

The New Products Project Manager will play a critical role in bringing innovative hearing protection and audio products to market while maintaining the high standards our customers expect. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Product Development Leadership 

  • Manage the end-to-end development process for new products from concept through mass production. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Coordinate internal teams including product development, engineering, sourcing, marketing, and operations. 

Supplier & Manufacturing Coordination 

  • Work closely with overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners (primarily in Asia). 
  • Ensure suppliers meet project timelines, quality standards, and technical specifications. 
  • Coordinate prototype builds, engineering samples, and pilot production. 

Cross-Functional Communication 

  • Serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners. 
  • Lead regular project meetings and maintain clear communication of project status, risks, and next steps. 
  • Escalate potential delays or issues and develop mitigation plans. 

Product Validation & Compliance 

  • Coordinate product testing, certification, and validation, including standards such as hearing protection and electronics compliance. 
  • Ensure documentation and product requirements are properly tracked throughout the development process. 

Product Launch Preparation 

  • Support cross-functional launch planning, including marketing, packaging, supply chain readiness, and inventory planning. 
  • Ensure all product documentation, specifications, and quality requirements are finalized before production. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Required 

  • 3 -7 years of experience in product development, project management, or hardware product management 
  • Experience managing consumer electronics or hardware products 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally 
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers or manufacturers 
  • Ability to attend some virtual meetings with global suppliers, outside of typical EST business hours

Preferred 

  •  Experience with audio products, wearable technology, or hearing protection 
  •  Familiarity with Bluetooth products or electronics manufacturing 
  •  Experience coordinating product certification and regulatory testing 
  •  Experience using project management tools (Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar)
