Our client, Joink, a rapidly growing FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) and broadband infrastructure provider is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their executive leadership team. This role will drive strategic initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent, while aligning workforce strategies with organizational objectives. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader with a track record of building scalable HR systems and fostering a performance-driven, values-based culture.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that comply with all applicable laws and align with organizational goals. 

  • Oversee talent acquisition and recruitment efforts, and lead compensation and benefits design. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on human capital issues and organizational effectiveness. 

  • Lead employee engagement efforts, leadership development, and retention initiatives. 

  • Support change management initiatives and cultural integration in the event of acquisitions or major organizational transitions ensuring a consistent and compliant approach. 

  • Direct internal communications strategies that reinforce mission, values, and business priorities. 
     

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred) 

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in a high-growth, operations-heavy industry (telecommunications, utilities, construction, or infrastructure preferred) 

  • Proven ability to build and scale HR operations to support workforce expansion (multi-state or multi-location experience a plus) 

  • Demonstrated expertise in employment law, compensation planning, performance management, and talent development 

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills across all levels of the organization 

  • Strategic thinker who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and engage directly in HR operations 

  • Experience supporting a mixed workforce of field technicians, remote staff, and corporate personnel
