Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Director of Human Resources

Talent Trailblazing: Spearhead full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing top-tier talent to crafting compelling onboarding experiences. Your knack for identifying needs and executing best practices will drive the talent acquisition strategy forward.

Learning & Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement training initiatives that empower the team to reach new heights. By nurturing a culture of continuous learning, you'll ensure that every employee has the tools they need to excel.

Benefits, Compensation, and Total Rewards Expertise: Become the guru for all things benefits-related, guiding the organization’s benefits and total rewards strategy and administration, ensuring that the compensation and rewards strategy attracts and retains top talent.

Compliance and Best Practices Oversight: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and industry standards by implementing compliance programs and monitoring HR practices. Stay abreast of evolving regulations and proactively update policies to maintain compliance.

Qualifications for the Director of Human Resources

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 plus years of HR generalist experience
  • Minimum of 5 years leading an HR department and supervising a team
  • Multi-site experience preferred but not required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle delicate situations with empathy and professionalism
